Extra Help for Limited Income Individuals

The Federal government recognizes that some people may need Extra Help paying for their prescription medicines. You can read more about qualification. To see if you qualify for getting Extra Help, call:

  24 hours a day/7 days a week
• Social Security Administration at 1-800-772-1213
  (TTY/TDD users call, 1-800-325-0778)
  between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., Monday through Friday
• Your state Medicaid Office

If you do qualify for prescription drug assistance, your Medicare Prescription Drug Plan costs, your premium and what you pay at the pharmacy will be less. Once you are enrolled in Today's Options^® PFFS, Medicare will tell us how much assistance you are receiving, and we will send you information on the amount that you will pay.

Remember: If you qualify for prescription drug assistance, you still need to enroll in a plan with Medicare Part D prescription drug coverage, such as Today's Options, to receive your prescription drug coverage.
