The products and services described below are neither offered nor guaranteed under our contract with the Medicare program. In addition, they are not subject to the Medicare appeals process. Any disputes regarding these products and services may be subject to the TexanPlus grievance process.

In addition to the many healthcare services covered under the plan, as a member, you have the opportunity to enjoy a variety of value-added services that are available locally and can help improve your quality of life while saving you time and money.

Vision Care

EyeMed Vision Care offers members discounts on eye care, with up to 28% savings on prescription lenses and frames and up to 15% off on contact lenses. Our members also save 20% on non-prescription glasses and can get eye exams with dilation for only $55.  Available at 13,000 convenient locations.

Hearing Care

TexanPlus members can save 30% on hearing evaluations and exams and enjoy a 25% discount on all hearing aids through HearPO. Members can call to schedule an appointment at any of 1,600 locations nationwide.

Dental Services

Careington offers members a full menu of dental services available at either a low set fee or at a 20% discount.

Value-Added Services to Keep You Fit

Careington also provides TexanPlus members with discounts of 25% to 50% at over 10,000 participating gyms, exercise facilities, and fitness centers across the nation. Privileges include all amenities, programs and services, including any exercise or recreation program or class.
