When purchasing prescription drugs always show your Medicare Part D Prescription Drug Plan card first to see if the drug is covered under your plan as part of your plan benefit. Any money you spend on non-covered prescriptions drugs will not count toward your Initial Coverage Limit or toward your Catastrophic Coverage Limit. Also, this program does not take away your option to file for a formulary exception if you have drug benefits. Please see your Evidence of Coverage for more information.
