Is My Plan Still for Me?

If you are happy with your plan, you don’t need to re-enroll to be covered in 2010.

Right now is the perfect time to ask: is my Medicare plan still right for me?

From November 15th to December 31st, people with Medicare are allowed to enroll in or switch Medicare Part D Prescription Drug plans and Medicare Advantage plans.

Use this checklist to see if you may need a different plan:

• Has my health changed in the past year? 
• Can I afford my monthly premium now?
• Am I taking fewer or more medicines than I did when I enrolled in my current plan?
• Am I happy with what I pay for my drug coverage?
• Do I need coverage on generic medicines in the gap?
• Would I like to have medical, vision, dental, or hearing coverage?
